I can't see my screen or the words How do I enlarge them

You can either enlarge the picture by lowering your screen resolution, (in Windows, right click the desktop, then click on properties or Screen Resolution, then move the slider down some to increase your screen picture size.) or you can go into the Windows Control Panel, and look for ease of access center, then optimize visual display, and make fonts bigger there.

Set HP w2007 to factory standards

Go into control panel. When you are in control panel click on Personalize. When that comes up go to display. Under that tab you can make the adjustments to the screen resolution that you would like. There should be an option to alllow windows to select the optimal resolution for you.

Plug in the monitor and it comes on momentarily but then cuts out to blank screen.I got this given to me and am just trying to see if Ican use it with my hp system thanks.

Hi. If the display goes out after displaying the Power On Self-Test (POS) and the power indicator turns amber, it means that the display resolution of your computer is higher than what SyncMaster 192S can handle.

If you still have the monitor that you were using before, connect that one and change screen resolution to 800x600 and 60 Hertz. Turn off your computer then change monitor/LCD and turn on your computer. You may change screen resolution to optimize display on your SyncMaster 193S.

Let me know if you need help changing screen resolution or if you don't have the original monitor that you were using on your HP.
