I need to remove the sprayer on my GE Profile Dishwasher model GSD4130Y70WW because it is clogged. I've got the exploded view, but I can't tell from looking how it comes apart. Suggestions, please? Thank...

Hi, Donna, W/D here.

Most all of the washing arms either have a screw type cap, or they pull off. If you go to pull them off, hold your other hand on their attached points to lessen the strain.

You can clean the tips by using a paper clip shaped into an "L" shape, and use it to rake out the material in the slots at the tips. You can also use it to poke the material that might be clogging the nozzles back into the spray arm, and then backwash the spray arm over the sink. Give it a thorough washing, or you'll likely see some of the debris again, plugging either the slots or the nozzle(s).

Best regards, --W/D--

GE Profile Max Dishwasher

I,m not familiar with this make or model but all spray arms should be removable bottom normally pulls off top quarter turn and pull and the back water feeding tube can also be removed usually by clips.rinse through thoroughly and hook out food stuffs with needle from the eyelets.the cause is general build up but mainly pips seeds rice etc.solution is to rinse plates before going in machine also checking filter is firmly in place before wash cycle.remove and check filters regulary. hope this helps

Is this GE Profile dishwasher recalled?

No recalls on any GE Profile model dishwashers. (there may have been service bulletins, but no recalls) Also, you missed the first two letters of the serial number.
You can go to this web site http://www.geappliances.com/products/recall/ to find info on any GE recall.
