My Kenmore 80 Series gets hot, but it takes 2 or 3 cycles to dry clothes. What should I do?

If its getting hot and cycling and your drum is turning than the problem is a clogged or kinked vent hose or maybe a bird nest in the exterior defuser.

I change my radio on a 2004 trailblazer LS an my front face A/C & Heat Vent stop working any idea what might have happen...all the other vents are flowing correctly...

yes it happens more than you know vent doors are actuated by vaccuum and electrical wiring. pull the radio back out and look for unplugged lines or see if vent doors around the radio area are jammed or broken, could have something hung up in the wire area. when the radio is out turn on the a/c and move the vent controls and see what happens in the radio rest area checking for vent/ actuator movement

2004 Dodge Grand Caravan SE front vents suddenly not working, what could have caused this? All fuses are fine, and the defroster vents still work, they will even blow out cold air, but not the main vents!...

plurbaby236, The venting system for the front of your vehicle is controlled by a vaccum line coming from the engine the rear is electric. You may have a broken vacuum line in the engine compartment. When this happens the defrosters are a default setting. Check for a small vacuum line going through the firewall, usually near the middle and follow it. You may find that it is broken. A quick repair is to take a small piece of rubber hose that fits snuggly on the plastic vacuum hose. Good luck with this.

1999 chevy tahoe, my ac blows colder in the rear passenger vents then it does in the front passenger vents. what could cause this problem and how can i fix it? how do i access the front ac vents?

it could be your vent doors not opening and closing properly or completely. There are vacuum actuated doors that direct air from the heater - or A/C Evaporator(even mixes the two on some) , as well as defrost, vent, floor and so on...

Might want to check for vacuum leaks(broken, hanging, cracked vacuum lines), or see if anything is obstructing the vent doors.

2004 Eddie Bauer Expedition ...Front Vents needs to be replaced. need instructions how to remove broken vents and replace.

You can usually remove the old vents using a small flat bladed screwdriver and inserting it in the space between the dash and the vent (where the vent pivots) and gently prying up until the vent comes out. Replacing the vent is easier, just very carefully snap it back in the pivot holes. If the space seems a little tight, use the screwdriver to gently pry the dash out alittle till the vent goes into place.

Whirlepool electric drier won't heat

Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

OK, if the above checks out ok and, the vent is clear of obstructions, you will need to replace the element.
