I got rid of my Altec Lansing because I got white noise when the unit was turned OFF. They are not a good make. You can try moving any wires or magnetic influence away from them. I now own Bowers and Wilkins MM1 speakers which are amazing.
What was the shutter, aperture, and iso set at? How are you triggering the flash? (wireless, wired) Sounds like the images are just getting blown out. If you throw them into a photoeditor, and if the files are in RAW format, does taking the exposure down reveal more details?
Normally ADFs have a top feed roller and a bottom feed which turns in the opposite direction . If the top feed roller is dirty / dusty , the original will not be pulled through , Also if the original is very thick ( > 130 140 gsm )
It could be the compressor or the start relay. If you hear a click sound, then your relay is good and your compressor is shot. If you do not hear a clicking sound, then your compressor is good and your relay is shot. Also check to make sure that under operation even if the compressor does not work the fan should still be spinning, even if it is warm air. Please rate
