If the car engine has been previously running correctly then have a good look at the air inlet pipes for splits/cracks. This will allow extra air to be sucked into the engine and so weaken the fuel mixture, cut out at idle speed. Replace any split pipes

Lost likely your do not have carburator(s)
Fuel Injection in most model cars since 1990's.
My past experiences tell me you have a problem with TPS Throttle Position Switch. I can remember Chrysler products had similar problems. Driving along Highway speeds get off highway and engine does not Idle. Need to have diagnostic tests run checking for Fault Codes. Doubt there are any adjustments you can make.

Not sure what you asking..but by what you are saying the carb idle speed control needs adjusted..there should be two adjustment screws on the carb..one in the middle where it hooks to the motor it is the mixture screw do not adujust..the other is located where the throttle linkage hooks to the carb..adjust that one while the engine is running and out of gear..to the right adds speed the left backs it off...adjust to an idle speed that will allow you to operate the clutch..and put in gear..just make sure it isn't one of the safety switches that is not letting you put it in gear..good luck.

The engine went dead when I slow down to turn on neutral gear. what is the possible cause?

Neutral gear? Standard transmission or Automatic? If automatic
car may be smart enough to shut down. If Standard transmission
you may have a clutch safety start switch wire loose or bad switch.

Revs high when i change gear

Is it possible the clutch pedal is interfering with the throttle? Start the engine in neutral and allow it to idle. Press only the clutch pedal down and see if this increase the engine speed. If it does speed up the engine and slows back down when you release the clutch then somehow this operation is where your fault lies. If it doesn't alter the idle speed, then rev your engine and release the throttle to see if it returns to idle immediately. If it is slow to return to idle then your throttle cable could be sticking. This means when you change gear lifting off the throttle has little effect and depressing the clutch to change gear causes the engine to race as the throttle is still partially open.

I have a 1999 Gilera Runner 180FXR, New bat 12V 9 amps. Starter turns and spins pinion gear but won't engage starter ring. If it does it turns ver slow or won't turn engine over. In manual it

Yep, not enough amps to engage the starter clutch, and when ti does engage, not enough amps to turn the engine. You need a 12 amp battery.

Manual transmission will not shift with engine running but will with engine off

The reason is that the gears are turn with the engine running, like the clutch is not disengaged. So that is what you need to look at. the clutch or clutch pedal linkage/ hydraulic system. One of these is not letting the transmission slow down enough to engage a gear.

My 2003 Ford Focus Zetec engine, I think either the clutch is going out or maybe just needs fluid. It doesn't want to really go anymore, slow to get up to speed. How and where would I check the fluid on...

If you were low on clutch fluid the clutch would not disengage, it would not cause the car to be slow, but it would be difficult or impossible for you to change gears. If you feel the clutch slipping while driving, either the clutch disk and/or pressure plate are worn, or possibly have oil in then from a leaking engine or transmission seal.

I have a rav4 that won?t go into gear once the engine is started. If the engine is off it will go into gear. So every time I have to stop I must turn off my car put it in first and then start it again....

Change the gear oil. If the gear oil is leaking get it fixed as soon as possible. If all the oil has leaked then it may have severely damaged the gear box.
