Question about Vizio L32 32 in. LCD HDTV
I used to use a setop box with my Vizio L37 and connect HDMI from the setop to the Vizio. That worked great. I am now trying to use just the DTV input which is Coax (labeled DTV - Digital ANT./Cable) and connect directly to the cable coming from the wall. When I do this I get "No Signal". I'm pretty sure I had scanned for channels at some point in the past and it worked fine. I try scanning via the (auto) option and it doesn't pick up any channels and it receives a scan error 50% through the scanning process. I do set the input to "DTV". I connected another hdtv up via its digital tv input and that tv receives channels/signals just fine from that same coax cable outlet.

Try plugging in a powered antenna.
The DTV coax input is for over-the-air HDTV transmissions which vary depending on your location and surrounding buildings. I have the LCT32HA36 hooked up to a powered antenna and it works fine, but it wouldn't work when I plugged in the cable from the wall.
