Switch iPad Bluetooth On and quickly switch Bose Speaker On.

They should talk to each other as they find each other and fall in love :>)

Bose Bluetooth speakers from I-pod are listed in the link below with manuals.

On my Bowers and Wilkins T7 Bluetooth speaker you have to press the Bluetooth button on the SPEAKER the first time you connect it. After it is paired, it finds itself as soon as the speaker is turned on. I can highly recommend the B&W T7.

I have a pair of bose901 speakers early model maybe 1970 right speaker just stopped working and there is a small buzz coming out? Help

bose 901s have 9 drivers at .75 ohms each wired in series, one of the drivers probably went south, and if one fails they all don't work. open the box and remove the drivers marking the wires for polarity(VERY IMPORTAINT) check with multimeter which driver (speaker) is open or over 1 ohm resistance, that's your culprit. take it to a recone shop for repair or order the replacement driver from bose. also check the condition of the surrounds, as after 30+ years they all probably need replacement. any competent speaker repair shop should be able to help at a cost of around $25 per driver. Also make sure you ALWAYS use the bose eq with these speakers.

How to takwe apart a bose cinemate speaker

I wouldn't do it, because BOSE supposedly uses tubes to enhance the sound. Typically opening a speaker up creates scratches or breaks plastic parts.

My Bose Acousticmass 15 sub has stopped working. I have tried unplugging it but that has no effect. When I turn the switch "on" I get nothing (but the sub still passes sound to the cubes). Any ideas? Can I...

If you know the sub has no power (tried new outlet or tested the current) the fuze may have been blown. The problem is that it could be more than the fuze in this case. Also the fuze is not easily replaceable in these bass modules. I'd call Bose tech/repair support to see what they offer for repair options. (they're actually pretty reasonable considering the cost of their products)

Bose Cube Speakers separated

I had the same problem with a Bose separated double-cube Acoustimass speaker/array but was able to fix it as follows:

small, thin, flat-head screwdriver
large pliers

1. Disconnect the speaker wires from the cube.
2. Remove the grille from the top speaker cube. It just pops off.
3. Insert a small, thin, flat-head screwdriver around the perimeter of the speaker. You will have to pry lightly to break the glue’s seal.
4. Using a set of pliers (large, plumber-sized) wiggle the speaker until it comes free. You might need to grip it top to bottom and then left to right. The speaker will come free of the case.
5. Remove the white insulation to get a clear view of the dislodged brace/connector.
6. Stack the top and bottom cubes. Make sure that the rubber seal between the cubes is seated properly and that the black and white cables are not pinched.
7. Using the C-clamp, compress the brace/connector until it seats on one side. Loosen the C-clamp and compress the opposite side. The brace/connector should snap into place. Be sure the make sure that you do not pinch the speak wires that are running through the center of the brace/connector.
8. Test the articulation. It should be the same as your other speakers.
9. Replace the white insulation in the back of the speaker case.
10. Press the speaker into the case’s face. If you wish, you can apply your preference of glue to the edge of the speaker prior to pressing it into the case.
11. Snap the grille onto the speaker.
12. Connect the speaker wires to the cube and you are done.

You should be good to go.
