SOURCE: the coffee grinder on my Magic Comfort Plus is not

Hi Sounds like you have a blockage in you grind passage. Try removing the brew group. Then inside on the roof of the machine where the brew unit was setting there is a drop chute where the coffee is dropped into the brew unit. From the left side of the drop chute pull down and back, and it will drop coffee. This will clear an opening that relieves pressure on the passage. There is a passage inside the drop chute area that goes to the grinder. Vacuum it out. It will be on the right side of the drop chute. Once that is cleared go to the bean hopper. There is a lever under the bean hopper. Push the lever back to the largest number. You can push the lever to a larger number any time, but it has to be grinding to pull to a smaller number. Now replace everything and make your coffee. Once you have made your coffee you can pull back to a number that was higher than the one you had it on, but only when the grinder is running.

How to unclog coffee spouts?

I have a different machine, but it came with a needle like cleaner for those tiny holes in the cup that holds grinds. Also, if I grind the coffee too fine, there isn't enough pressure to push coffee out of both holes. Make a coarser grind to see if that solves the problem.

The grinder is not working. Only water is coming out.

Basically coffee is not being ground. Likely causes are grinder is faulty or temperature cut-out for Grinder has blown. Either can be replaced as a spare from Miele. Note: A possible cause for Grinder not working is that the carbon brushes are worn away preventing electrical contact. Unfortunately Miele does not sell brushes as a spare part.

there is a lever under the beans container that controls the size of the grind. it should always always be center, or to the right of center. if it is too far to the left, the chute will clog up and the grinder teeth will get impacted with coffee flour. nothing to do at that point but set up a service call to replace the grinder. please make sure your servicer is a miele tech. anyone else will not know how to work on this machine.

The grinder runs but does not grind beans

Sounds like a blockage in the bean hopper. With the power off, take away the bean hopper and reach in the hole where the beans go and poke around to see if you can clear it.

I owe the miele CVA4075 BUT my whole bean grinder is not grinding the bean and only water gets dispensed, anyone have a solution?

Make sure the hopper is working correctly to see if there are any blockages, then check under the hopper to the opening where the beans go to the grinder. My guess is that there are a few beans and chipped portions of beans which are clogged under there.

Fault F 17 appears when in use. Starts grinding the beans but no coffee in the cup yet. What does F17 mean?

f 17 is no water flow. It usually occurs when the brew unit has not been cleaned regularly, when the coffee grind size is set too fine, or when oily beans are used. You can try to soak the brew unit in hot water for a while, and run water through it in the sink. Unfortunately, most cases require brew unit replacement. A properly cleaned and maintained brew unit should last the life of the machine.

Bean grinders expect to grind whole beans as you have just found out. The grounds have clogged the entrance of the grinder. Use a wood chop stick to try and loosen up the 'caked' coffee and remove the coffee with a vacuum hose attachment. Try to **** out as much of the coffee as you can. Please note that this should all be done with the machine unplugged. Try grinding again but don't let it 'Hum' too long if it's not grinding. You can also try to adjust the grinder 'coarser' to give more room for the burrs to clear. Good Luck!

,Hi
If you have adjustments for your bean hopper, 1 should have a + and - on it. Move that adjustment to the + but then back it up 1 click. Then go to the grind adjustment and move it down to a smaller #, but only when it is grinding. When you get the grind adjusted you should have grinds that look like coarse granulated sugar.
If you have taken the brew head apart you may have put it together wrong.
