If the laptop appears to boot up and you can't see an image on the screen, you need to determine if the screen is faulty or the video card.
Connect an external monitor to the laptop's external video port, power up the monitor first and then boot up the laprop. If you get a normal video image on the monitor then the video card is OK and the fault is with the LCD screen.
If you don't get an image or POST information, then the LCD screen could be faulty or the laptop didn't boot up.
Please get back to me with the results of your tests and any error messages etc. so I can advise further.

It appears your video driver is corrupted, that is why you see a normal image in Safe Mode, it runs standard VGA. If you can get the computer to boot up in safe mode, then try to do a Restore Point back to a date before you started having problems. If that dosen't work, try install the video driver after you boot up in Safe Mode.

If nothing works then you need to reinstall Windows again together with the device drivers and your programs. Hoped you had backed up your data because the reinstall most likely will wipe out your existing data.

It was working good all of sudden screen became black and the PXE E61

It seems to have lost communication with the hard drive. Check physically (pop out and then back in) and in BIOS. Make sure its the 1st boot option.

Also disable PXE boot in BIOS or remove from 1st boot option. This is a LAN (network) boot option.

My hp laptoop restarted again and again always shows black screen and then system shut down and restart again

Try booting under safe mode if using windows xp:

Windows 7 safe mode:

This sounds like it could be couple different issues - namely a corrupt driver or OS file, or a physical malfunction of the hard drive.

Acer Aspire 5100 laptop's screen remains black at start-up

This is probably a hardware issue with the monitor. Just to make sure, uninstall, and reinstall the monitor's driver. If that doesn't fix it, it's a hardware issue.

You will have to either take it to a shop, or contact the manufacturer (your computer should be under warranty if you've had it for less than a year).

My Dell E193FP boots up with the computer and then

Seems to be a very common problem with this screen. Im taking one apart as we speak to try to discover the problem. In the mean time - check that the Power Input isnt loose, and you can wiggle it around. Usually means the power is arcing onto the board

Screen remains black

It seems to be the screen of the system has gone bad , but in case if you see DELL on start of the system, it can be OS which is corrupted but the way you are telling that you can see it on external display it it the Monitor.

Good Luck
