SOURCE: No power to machine - there is power to the plug

I had the same thing happen. I took the top off and realized that the power cord from the factory went out the back.....back in an opening.....across the back but on the inside and out another opening. The part crossing the back on the inside was near the motor and belt and was cut through the hot wire and ground. Someone has to be an idiot to run the wire in the design on the inside.

Pfaff 6230 Foot Control quit working. Light behind Stitch panel, speed, needle down, & 1 stitch at a time doesn't light up. Are these 2 problems? What do I need besides replacing Foot Control?

Um, it could be no power to your machine, I would suspect it is the power cord, plug or possibly an internal electrical issue. If the foot control failed, the machine's light should still work.

How to reset the samsung wa7584c1 + control panel my washing machine returns the 1E error and its not the pressure switch. when i bypass it works but wants to reset it. How do i operate the control panel to reset. please help 1.To reset the control panel of your Samsung WA7584C1 washing machine, you can follow these steps: 2.Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet. 3.Wait for a few minutes to ensure that any residual power is discharged from the machine. 4.Plug the washing machine back into the power outlet. 5.Press and hold the "Start/Pause" button for approximately 5 seconds. 6.Release the "Start/Pause" button once the control panel lights up or resets. Check if the error code (1E) has been cleared. If the above steps don't work, consult the user manual of your washing machine for specific instructions on how to reset the control panel or troubleshoot the 1E error code. If the issue persists, it may be necessary to contact Samsung customer support for further assistance or to schedule a service appointment.

Flashing lights

Possible that the control panel has encountered an error and so is erratic.
Remove power for sometime and see if the machine resets.
If not the control panel board is a suspect. Remove the board to confirm the case , check the working of the power supply and processor.

Nothing works on control panel except control locked sensor light. The buttons were working fine then I went to add more drying time and the buttons do not light up or work.

From the details of your symptom you're indicating a possible intermittent loose connection between the user interface (touch panel) and the machine control board or the voltage supply to machine control board at P1 connector.

Disconnect the power cord from the power source.

  • Disconnect P3 and P4 connectors from the machine control board and then reconnect them.
  • Disconnect P1 connector and then reinstall the P1 connector and then recheck operation.

If the wires are good then you will need to replace the control board on your unit.
Here is a link to the part.

Door is closed and the light stays on. after a while non of the buttons will work any suggestions.

I have the same problem but my interior drum light stays on whether door is open or closed; in either case the control panel becomes in-operable after about five minutes. I unplug the machine for 5 to 20 minutes then plug it back in and it is powered "on" the moment I plug it in (i don't even have to push the power button). Then the light remains on but i am able to operate the control panel so i can do a load of clothes. Then if the machine sits idle for no more than five minutes, the control panel becomes in-operable again and the interior drum light stays on.

Any one have a clue???

Drum light works - contol lights don't/can't start dryer.

Either the machine control, or the user interface. Further diagnosis isn't possible. I'd try the machine control first. It's just under the top panel, along the left side.
