SOURCE: Honda gas power pressure washer runs for awhile then cuts off.

did you pour all of the old gas out before you started to use it. Sometimes condensation builds up in gas tank when stored. You need to dump old gas an put in new gas.

SOURCE: ALTO FORCE KEW COLD WATER POWER PRESSURE MACHINE STOPPED

Hi FRANK,
The answer of "Firehead" is correct. You have a start/stop valve with springs (springs = maybe broken by the rust). Kew sells a kit to repair. If you want i'll send a diagram to you.

SOURCE: My sons used the unit 2 to 3 times (8 hrs. total).

May be partially seized from sitting. I'd pull spark plug and pour/spray some WD-40 or similar in cylinder and let it soak for a while and keep trying to pull rope once in a while until it lets loose. Once it starts to turn over, install plug and see if it will start and run for a minute or 2 then change oil and should be good to go. If not, get back to me.

My vx-3200v does not power upturn on. Fuse blows instantly. I suspect input diode, don't have the service manual. Ideas?

Are you using the factory wiring harness? If so, there are 2 fuses. If not, it is easy and common to have the red + and black - wires in the wrong order. Really! Even after 20 years of working on them, it happens. Other than that, if you have another harness, or a couple of wires, hook them up when trying to program. Make certain the power supply can handle the amperage draw. I used a 5 amp power supply once, blew a fuse on the radio, then the power supply. Then I'd start looking at input diodes.

Sear Advantium 120

Disconnect it and connect bac to power. check the fuse. If nothing works is either the fuse, the cable or the power supply unit.

NO picture or sound on LG 42le5300 LED TV

I see so many here with no sound/nopicture issues:

ISSUES:

1. IF sound main fuse/s are good.
2. If no power or standby check main fuse, standby power supply and any signsof damage you can see---burnt parts etc.
3. almost all these sets the troubleshooting involves checking voltages on the main power board to narrow down theproblem.
4. Be safe and if you do not know what you are doing don't open the set.

Answers to issues:

1. RE:fuses---if a blown fuse is found get a good replacement(not the genericones like Radio Shack). Many fuses are special even aside from amperage--Don'tput a higher rated amperage fuse in the set for any reason.

2. RE: power supply in set: if total dead aside from main fuse the set uses astandby power supply that runs 7/24 and a main supply (some are combined andsome not.

Here aside from checking fuses you want to examine all the filter caps on thepower/standby to see if any are puffed up or buldged up in some fashion--Iattach a photo of a good one---top should be silver metal and PERFECTLY flatand have no brown material coming out on top or bottom.

What happens in the standby area is they use caps with too low a voltage rating(saves money) which causes them to fail in a year or two---the standby runs7/24 and the heat dries out the caps and they fail.

3. Trouble shooting consists of the above and then at some point you have to buyand try a board to see if it fixes it or not.

4. Safety first--no TV set is worth getting injured or even killed over.If set is opened at least look for puffed up and bad caps like in thisphoto.4_25_2012_1_26_56_pm.jpgcaps can fail and look puffed up like this--tops must be perfectly flat.

Personal note:

I have been fixing sets for over 30 years---the current sets for most average people are not do it yourself repairs---A house call is a waste of time and money in most cases.

Two types of repair approaches are used: start changing boards until you either fix it or find it is not on any of the boards.

In shop use scope, signal generator etc to narrow down which if any board is bad and proceed.

I am old school and try to fix by repair if possible--LG and every major maker now only sells the boards--some of the off brands the boards do not even exist.

My answer above is a "stock" one meant to be a basic guide and give some ideas, I answer over 300 questions a week here for free so it also saves some time----I have had more than a few who with this info fixed the set or at least found the problem.

The shop I work for has at any given time 90-150 Plasma and LCD sets in for repair----85% are less than 2 years of age.

Most of us are used to sets lasting 10 years or more--not anymore--average life span with these is 3-5 years.

If I can be of any assistance use the make a comment button on this page to let me know.

Mw oven totally dead. 2 year old panasonic

No sorry there is none... look what usually happens is the magnetron, or high power diode, or Oower Supply goes faulty, a magnetron can cost between $95 - $150, or more...and usually that is NOT the only part that will/would need replacing. Cut your losses, and get a firm "Quote" from a repair center, or get a new one, with a 5 year Warranty.

I have a TEAC 500 amp. It just cut out when I was listening to music. Now there appears to be no power (unit does not light up), but the power outlet sockets are still powering the other components - so...

More than likely, the internal regulated power supply has gone bad. The power outlets going out are usually just straight wired from the incoming power source, and not run through the power supply. Good luck!

there are several possibilities. 1. replace the ram, make sure that its a good working ram module. 2. review all your work from system board to power supply. 3. try running it temporarily without the cmos battery. 4. check your monitor. 5. check your VGA. 6. retry and retry.

Ps3 blows fuse at plug

Cocodinaro,

It sounds like you're using a damaged power strip; however, this issue can be caused by a bad outlet.

Replace the fuse and plug the unit into a different outlet. If the fuse blows, you need to go to a video game store an purchase a new power strip.
