Head lights wont turn off 06 h3 hummer

If you pull the headlamp relay in under hood fuse box, that should kill the headlamps until you figure out the problem? I don't know if relay could be faulty? I'd want to check relay wiring circuit for ground?
Your bcm grounds the coil side of headlamp relay in order to energize. I'm not saying bcm has a problem? The bcm receives input from headlamp/dimmer switch telling it the headlamp relay should be grounded. You might check for bcm or communication trouble codes.

In the underhood fuse block is the park lamp relay , I would start there ! I hope we are talking about the same lights here ? Do you mean the daytime running lights or the lights that come on when you turn on the headlamp switch ? Not the headlamps the Park lamps !

1996 ford explorer and the lights wont go off when i turn off the engine remove the key and turn the light switch to off. I have to remove the battery every time I stop the negine. I think it has something...

Are you talking about headlamps? If you pull fuse 11--20 amp, underhood fuse box, do the headlamps go off? Right now, I'm thinking something wrong with head lamp switch. Maybe the wiring connector has a problem or circuit is shorted to voltage. With the headlamp switch in the off position, there should no voltage for headlamps. As you can see, that fuse I mentioned is hot all the time. Just my opinion.

The security system need to be reset, plug your charger back on the battery then turn the ignition switch on and leave it on untill the security warning light turns off (about 10 to 20 Min) then turn the key to off wait 5sec then turn the car on it should be good to go, this solves this kind of problem 9 out of 10. good luck

Our headlights wont turn on. Is there some way we can check this problem, thanks D.Bonchek

check to see if power is at headlamps with switch on. if not check the fuses, there should be a left headlamp fuse, as well as a right headlight fuse.in underhood fuse box. if the fuses are ok. then it may be in the wiring or the switch. check the switch for power when turned on.

Hello i am experinceing some problems with my 2003 toyota corolla first my run light stay on with the key off the key out of the ignition i gather from forums thats the head light switch since it only...

It sounds like you are suffering from a bad case of "Killed The Battery" The ignition switch will not turn your headlamps off if you leave the light switch turned on. This is a problem I see all the time with "Auto" headlamps. Most people turn the headlamp switch to "Auto" and leave it there. This is fine. The headlamps will stay on a minute or two after the ignition is turned off then they will shut off automaticly. What happens is that the headlamp switch gets turned to the "On" position and when you get out of the car you expect them to turn off automaticly but they don't....Dead battery! Then there's the case where the headlamp switch itself lies to the body computer (The guy in charge of turning the lights off) about which position it is in...You have no idea that it is doing this...Dead battery!
The radio is most likely inoperative due to the battery going dead. It is probaby waiting for you to enter the security code to unlock it. If you don't know the security code you will have to take it to the dealer to get them to unlock it for you. (The antitheft system thinks you were trying to steal the radio when the power went off) The clock is going to be off because it has to be reset just like the clocks at your house when the power goes out.
