on a a200 there is no oil. this mixer requiers grease. if mixer is leaking oil it is because the grease is broken down .you have to pull tpo cover off mixer remove trans. parts clean out old grease clean all trans. parts reassemble put top cover back on .then make sure mixer runs in all 3-speeds before putting 1.5 cans of -47grease back in grease can be bought @any hobart office

the magnet is in the front gaurd. I suspect you have it taped on the back. looked behind the gaurd and you will see a small nut with a threaded stud looking thing in the neck of the mixer this is a electricl switch the magnet works. maybe your magnet is not ligned up on it or the switch is bad and you need a new one. the head is held on with 4 bolts onder the head is the switch and another switch for the bowl lift. . Best solution is have your front gaurd on and sliding corretly get a new magnet for it and it will lign up. If I cam and fixed it only way I would is with gaurd magnet. Can you tell I am factory trained and been drilled by Hobart lawyers many times. LOL never bypass a Saftey
One thing if mixer does not run at all it could be many things On/oof switch, Timer, bowl lift shwitch. Gaurd switch, realy that runse it in gaurd models. so be to be sure you need me LOL kidding. Good liuck

There are hints to the age, first two digit of the S/N is the factory. "11" are the older ones, spec vs ml on plate, type of power switch, bowl gaurd....

On the newer A200s, there is a reed switch behind the solid portion of the bowl gaurd. On the cage portion there is a magnet embedded in a plastic holder. Without it, the mixer won't run.
