Yes the memory card reader can read SD cards. SDHC is a high capacity version of the SD card and it should work with the card reader on the computer.

If it does not work then purchase a cheap reader like this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Integral-One-SDHC-Card-Reader/dp/B000VY80AM

or look for a SDHC CARD READER Locally.

let me know if you have any questions or if you need anything else.

Thanks,
Ekse

HP Pavilion won't read SDhc cards

Unfortunately you need more than a driver. There are hardware differences between SD and SDHC cards and if a device such as a card reader wasn't designed to read SDHC cards then merely updating a driver won't do anything.
You can buy an SDHC-compatible card reader which plugs into an available USB port for as little as $8 (certainly much less than $60).

My hp officejet 7210 all in one will not read my SDHC memory card for my new Panasonic camera. Why? Should I purchase just a SD memory card? Will that work?? Thanks

Purchasing an SD card might be better. Just for the fact that when your printer was manufactured the technology for SDHC cards were still not incorporated in your printer.

Your HP all-in-one can read the following memory cards: CompactFlash (I, II), Memory Sticks, MultiMediaCard (MMC), Secure Digital, SmartMedia, and xD-Picture Card. Note: It will not read an SDHC.

Hp Photosmart 8150 can't read sdhc memory card

Unless the SD slot is specifically designated that it can read the new SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) memory card it will not read even though it plugs intop the standard SD slot.. I checked and this printer can't read the SDHC card only the standard SD card. You can buy a SDHC USB reader on ebay for a few dollars.

Have an HP L7680 all-in-one Just received a Panasonic Limuix camera and cannot read the SDHC memory cards in the SD slot - Printer posts an error

No, it's not possible, it'll never read SDHC in the SD slot. SD slot will only read SD, Mini SD (with adaptor) and Micro SD (with Adaptor). If there's no SDHC card slot, then it doesn't support SDHC Card. The lists of supported memory card are listed below:
CompactFlash™ Type I and II,
Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard/Secure MultiMediaCard (SD),
xD-Picture Card,
Sony Memory Stick®,
MagicGate Memory Stick,
Memory Stick Duo,
Memory Stick Pro

I hope this clears your doubt.

Note: SDHC and SD are different Memory Card types.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

My HP Photosmart R707 Camera not reading memory cards

If the memory card you are using is an SDHC designated card, your camera is probably not compatible with it. SDHC cards are usually 4gb and larger. Check the card for the SDHC label.

Hi,
It will read SanDisk. You should have a card reader connected to it.
