-   Same problem. 120VAC present where power cord enters projector, but the projector is completely unresponsive and acts as if there is no power present. Gingerly opened the case and removed many, many screws to access the power module. No obvious fuse to replace.

The fuse is a short round maroon colored part to the left of the power plug looking at the power supply module from the direction that you would connect the cord to. it is labeled F1 and it is a 4a 250v. This is not the problem with my power supply though. I suspect one of the components under the heatsink is bad. as you all know don't bother calling dell.

Hi: Our Club has an overhead projector to show results from our computer onto the screen. Dell product CM788, Description-ASSY,BASE,FPR,1409X,PRJCTR. Occassionally we want to project from a T.V. Sometimes it works perfectly but unfortunately it is a hit and miss if it works or not, even though we use the same TV and cable. What are we doing wrong on the other occassions? Does the TV have to be on the "Video" channel and the "Video Mode" pressed on the projector? We just blindly press buttons and hope. Can you help? Val Cran valoomba@bigpond.net.au
I have the same problem also. The projector won't power up at all. No lights and no cooling fan. I have verified I am getting power to the unit but it acts dead.
I have the same problem, no power (lamp or control panel). I tried a new power cord with negative results. I also removed the bulb with no apparent visual burnout. Worth mentioning that it was fine one day and didn't work the next, no popping heard as suggested by Dell in their troubleshooting. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...
