I have a whirlpool tub, with a side panel that allows access to the mechanics, and the panel is just held on with cheap velcro. We put commercial grade velcro on, as the panel kept falling off, but it too...

If Velcro is not working for you try some magnetic strips. Purchase some magnetic strips attach to both the cover and the tub. Be sure the polarity of the magnetic strips is correct so they attract each other. You could glue the strips to the cover attach the tub strips to the cover strips then apply glue to the tub strips and apply the cover to the tub allow the glue to dry and that would insure correct polarity and positioning of the strips. Hope this helps.

Sanding disk will not stick to the disk pad

IF you have a new disk and it will not stick, the velcro-like surface on the machine is worn. "Hook and Loop" is but another term for "Velcro" and the simplest solution is to purchase velcro tape from any fabric store and glue the correct side to the sander.

HOW TO FIT A FRONT PANEL TO JACUZZI BATH

If you are talking about the skirt of the tub, most are held in place with a glue backed velcro type fastener. It is a thin panel of plastic that goes on the front outside of the tub, this is known as the skirt of the tub.

I'd like to fit a 2m band radio to my Toyota LC4 Landcruiser (2006). I'd like to know; is there space behind the panel under the ashtray and how does this panel come out?

I had to do some research on this one.... I would say no on this install. Just too much gear in the way! Either use a two meter with a remote head or you may have to use Velcro to fasten it to the side of the center council....

Leaks from jets along outer wall

This is a hard fix, The jets are glued on to the back of the tub with an epoxy type material. the jets should spin on and off from the inside of the tub. You need to determine if it is the hole where the jet is that's leaking or if it is the jet assembly and tubing that is leaking. If it is the jet hole that is leaking, spin the jet off and use aquarium grade silicone (Lowes carries it)
spread this around the piece sticking thru the tub and spin the jet back on. This is a hit or miss fix. No easy fix if it is the tubes or jet assembly, full access necessary for this repair.

We have purchased a whirlpool tub model # 1714019020. It has side jets & 4 jets at the back. Can you tell me if there is some way to adjust the back jets or to turn them off as they spray water everywhere...

Some jets you can stick your finger into the jet its self and move it in 360 degrees. Others have a notched round trim piece that when turned counter clockwise, will loosen the jet where you can manipulate it as described above. You will need to retighten it after your done so it doesn't end up the same way. If you have trouble, you may want to use a little spray lubricant on it so it will loosen.
