The microphone is located under the last set of keys . you can open it up and see if when u dropped it a connection came loose but my guess when u dropped it you damaged the mic itself therefore the only way to fix it would to be to get a new phone

using flight mode you cannot make calls
you have to switch it to normal mode

In this mode (also known as offline mode ) you are able to use functions on the mobile phone (calendar, calculator etc.) even though the phone is not connected to a mobile network. You cannot make calls in flight mode .

The source of your echo is probably acoustic echo. This might happen in case end user's are using phone with bad acoustic echo cancellation. If you can not eliminate these phones you can integrate a commercial solution (e.g. the PBXMate). These solutions integrate with your VoIP network to resolve audio quality issues.
