Question about Xante Ilumina Digital Color Press Printer
I am trying to run envelopes, the envelopes are coming out fully black. When I open up the top cover and look at the transfer belt it is covered in toner. What can I do to stop this?
I have had three printers which "supposedly" printed envelopes. Only one of them really did. STOP TRYING!!! Try your best to COMPLETELY clean everything of toner. If that doesn't work, take cheap paper and keep printing until the mess is cleared up. This should work, but if you have gummed up the wrong parts with toner you can either take it to a pro whom you call first and describe the problem before you take it to him/her, which is probably going to be expensive and all that he may do is take it apart and say it's beyond repair and charge you whatever he/she charges (find out first). The alternative that I would take is to try to fix it myself. I have found this site for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cr4wWt2ci_4&list=PL6BEA51BFAEECF4BF
It may be helpful. I gather that this is an expensive printer. However when I tried to Google what you wrote it was listed but it would not respond to a click or a double-click (it should have responded to a single click). This is the best that I can do for you. Good luck.

SOURCE: Xante Ilumina Digital Color
it is a fact of digital print that toner scatter will apear ever so slightly. But it is noticable much more on glossy stock, as there is a high reflectivity, and no micro valleys in surface texture to loose it in..having said that...glossy stock is very difficult to print on with the Ilumina..even on label setting/ auto select for weight and Media switch on(this is the best I have been able to achieve)

SOURCE: full bleed printing
update on this, you cannt full bleed on the lead or tail edge, due to the sensors telling the unit when the paper starts to feed, and when the sheet ends as it enters the machine, you can only bleed to edge on the sides, by overstating the page size width.
