Camera lens won't shut

This has to be THE most common failure mode for a digital camera. Some common error messages that might show up on the LCD's of cameras with this problem include "E18 lens error" (older Canons), "ACCESS" error (Sony), "Zoom Error" (Fuji), "Lens Obstructed" (Kodak), "lens error, restart camera" or just "lens error" (nearly all camera makers lately use this variation). Some cameras might show nothing at all, but merely make a beeping noise as the lens goes out, then in, then the camera shuts off. Sometimes the lens won't even move.

Sony camera wil not stay on reads lens erroe 112 and turns off how can i fix it

Lens errors (system errors on Sony) are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try that may (or may not) correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try. Some of the later steps do involve some risk to the camera, so carefully weigh your options before deciding to conduct them:

I need to replace the lens of w-180.what is I number of part?

I'm guessing that you're experiencing an "access error" (on Sony's) or a "lens error" (on Canon's and others). Unfortunately the replacement part runs about $30 on ebay (here's one example, just search there for: sony w180 lens), and runs close to the value of your camera (going rate for a used w180 is about $40). If you purchased such a lens, there's no guarantee that you'd be able to fix your camera, as it really is not easy to access the lens.
You might want to instead consider that fix techniques have been developed for lens/access errors that do not involve opening up the camera. See this link. Give these fixes repeated tries. But if unsuccessful, consider purchasing one of those used w180's, or better yet, a brand new model camera.

I have a sony cyber t70 camera and have an error code E:61:00 come up on screen and i cannot take a pictue please help me .. what solution can i find for this.. venkatesh

Sony claims that the E:61:00 error means "Difficult to adjust focus Inspect the lens block focus reset sensor". In my experience this means that the gears that extend and retract the lens are somehow jammed. This could easily happen if you hit something with the camera with your lens in extended (working) position.
You should try to:
- power off the camera
- place your thumb on the back of the camera and the fingers a few centimeters from the closed lens
- power on the camera, and with your fingers stop the movement of the lens forcing not to fully extend
- when the lens retracts or stops and then continues to extend, let it go

sometimes this would resolve the issue.
You may want to check this site:
http://www.fewin.com/sony/sony.htm
wich has similar trick for a different model from sony, but the error is the same.
Be careful not to force the lens too hard or you may worsen the issue.
Let me know if this helped, good luck

E:61:00 on the display

E:61:00 means "Difficult to adjust focus Inspect the lens block focus reset sensor"
The simple solution to fix that error message was to the let the lens fully extend and give the lens a good whack. Possibly this error message for this means, that the auto focus motor was past the maximum set point.
goodluck
and do rate the solution if helped
