Question about Dell 44790D1 Photo 924 Inkjet All-In-One Printer 4479-0d1 USB Re
Go to Google. Enter , "Download Dell printer drivers". This will take you to a page where they will ask you about what your model is, and what your operating system is and be sure to pick between 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems - you didn't give that information or I would guide you all the way there. They may ask for your serial number - some companies do and some companies don't and I have never owned a Dell printer so I can't tell you about that. Next - do you really want a driver or do you merely need an update to an existing driver? Updates are a lot easier to install than full drivers. From there it's easy, however if you have really lost your driver you will have to go to Control Panel and uninstall it first otherwise the update will "get confused". Remember two CRUCIAL things - keep the power to the printer turned on, but unplug whatever cable (usually USB 2) is plugged in at the driver end. The installation will tell you when to plug it in.
