It is time to retire Windows XP, I recommend Windows 7 if your system supports it. check http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=164384 to find out. Otherwise, try Linux Mint if you are feeling adventuresome.

How to make report and if I need to copy and paste of the internet

Copying and pasting on a Mac is similar to copying and pasting on a PC, except for Mac user's use the Command key instead of Control.

Using Command + C for copy and Command + V for paste will allow you to copy and paste from a webpage into a document.

All new Macs come with a free copy of Pages (similar to Word), Keynote (Powerpoint) and Numbers (Excel). This will allow you to create just about any type of document. The help menus built into the programs are extremely intuitive.

Hope this helps!

I cannot open Safari for my hotmail Emails.

You don't provide a lot of information. You say you can't open Safari for your hotmail emails. Can you open Safari at all? If Safari is open can you go to other web sites?

If you can open Safari paste the following web address into you address line. Simply highlight the following address (press the command key and the "a" key at the same time while dragging you curser over the address; then, when the full address is highlighted press the command key and the "c" key at the same time. Move the curser to the address line, triple click on the address line and then press the command key and the "v" key at the same time to paste the copied address into the address line. Then click on the Return/Enter key once. This should take you to Hotmail. Then key in your email address and password. Good luck.

Ive just installed windows 7 on my pc and I wanted to know where to paste my old yahoo messenger conversations... I installed yahoo but I think its another version of it and I just cant find the Profile...

Your "Profiles" folder contains your complete message history archive on your computer. You can copy it to the same location on another computer if you want to view it there. We've included instructions for Windows XP and Windows Vista users.
To locate your complete message history archive on Windows XP:
  1. Open the "Run" command: press Windows Logo+R on your keyboard.
  2. Copy and paste the text below into the Run command ' then click OK:

    %ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\Messenger\
To locate your complete message history archive on Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit):
  1. Open the "Run" command: press Windows Logo+R on your keyboard.
  2. Copy and paste the text below into the Run command ' then click OK:

    %LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\
To locate your complete message history archive on Windows Vista or Windows 7 (64-bit):
  1. Open the "Run" command: press Windows Logo+R on your keyboard.
  2. Copy and paste the text below into the Run command ' then click OK:

    %LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Yahoo!\Messenger\
Warning: Copying your Profiles folder to another computer overwrites any existing message history archive on that computer and it is replaced by yours. That overwritten message history archive will be permanently eliminated by this process. (Workaround: Backup that message archive first to a storage medium such as a CD ROM.)

What do you use for copy and paste keys

In previous versions of Mac OS X (and Mac OS 9 for that matter), if you clicked on a file, copied it (Command-C), then opened an application (like Mail) and pasted it (Command-V), it would only paste that file’s name. Now, in some applications it pastes the actual file, so you can copy-and-paste a file from a Finder window or the desktop right into your application. Okay, so what if you do want just the name (which happens from time to time)? Just click directly on the selected file’s name (to highlight it) and press Command-C to copy it. Now you’re copying just the name. It’s a Power Pasting thing..!!

probably itz for Coping: "Apple+C" and for Paste: "Apple+S"..

howevr contact system admin/vendor for details....
