Question about Panasonic Toughbook Tablets & eReaders
Working on TB which went black and shut down, will not turn back on, noticed screen dimming last week
If you screen was dimming on your Toughbook, then try to
attach an external VGA monitor when the Toughbook is
turned off, then power on the external monitor,
then power-on the external screen.
If the external screen works, then you may have a bad
inverter if you TB is 2007 or before.
If the TB is 2008 or 2009 or later, then probably your screen
is NOT LCD with an inverter but instead LED. Which means
that you have to replace the entire LED screen.
