Try going here: http://bit.ly/RpwpAg. It displays components and diagrams for how parts are put together. That said, if it still does not answer your question, then I would advise contacting the manufacturer directly for assistance.

I HAVE A CUB CADET 1550 , I HAVE PUT A NEW BATTERY IN IT , NEW STARTER AND NO POWER TO THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AT ALL , COULD YOU POSSIBLY TELL ME WHAT TO CHECK FOR ?

Have you checked the fuse? Check the wiring to look for breaks, check for wires of the switch ends, make sure all wire connected an properly. It's hard to diagnose because we can't see it but most times it's the fuse or connectors.

Replaced starter dont remember how wires go back. the large red small red and the blue with the female slide on wires i know where they go but the larger blue one with the o shaped end i not sure if it...

you will have 3 or 4 wires to the solenoid. it sounds like you know where the 2 small ones go so the other 2 are for the battery and starter. one side of the solenoid will have a wire from the battery and the other side will have a wire to the starter. these 2 wires are larger because they carry the amperage required to turn the starter.

Cub cadet LT1045 starter solenoid: can 4 prong replace 3 prong?

Yes you can. The small wire from the key switch goes to the prong closest to the power wire from the battery.

I HAVE A CUB CADET LT1050 LAWN TRACTOR AND WHEN I TURN THE KEY I GET ONE SINGLE CLICK. THE STARTER DOESN'T ENGAGE

Hi camy wils815...
Sounds like you have a faulty solinoid.
Make sure your battery has a full charge, the by-pass the starter solinoid on the engine.
To do this ground one big wire connection to one of the small wire connectors (with the wires still hooked up) and if it starts, then replace the solinoid...if it does nothing, replace the solinoid.

I have a 16hp v twin in a cub cadet. When I try to start the engine all I get is clicking sounds. I have a new battery so I am wondering if I should try to replace the selinoid next or is there a problem...

I you hear aclicking sound the solinod is fine. I'm not sure about the circuit boars.. Look and see if there isn't a large red? wire coming from the solinoid to the starter. If there is remove the end from the starter. Connect a D>C> volt meter to the cable and the other end of the meter to a metal frame. sit on the mower and attempt to start it . The meter should read 12 volts while cranking. If it does its the starter. If it doesn't have the large wier to the starter I do not know. sorry szm230

I have a cub cadet 7234, shut it off last night now it wont do anything. Everything is in neutral but it won't crank.

Take a jumper cable and attach one end of the red set ends to the positive post on the battery after making sure the battery is fully charged, take the other end of the red cable and attach it to the bolt with the usually red wire on the starter. Take the blackset and attach one end to the negative post on the battery and touch the other black end to the starter hpousing and see if the starter engages, if it does not then you can assume that the starter has died. If on the other hand the starter spins over then either the starter switch or one of the safty switches on the cub cadet has failed. You can test all the switches by removing the wires going to them and using a small piece of wire bypass the connections untill you find the one that is defective, replace that one and you should be back in bussiness. Hope This Helps Don

1977 ford f 100 solenode mounted on starter

so did this problem just happen or did you do some wiring repairs??. on a 1977 the only solenoid should be the fender. I dont have a wiring diagram that old. if it just happened there is a small wire on the solenoid on the fender, unhook this wire, and see if it happens again. if the starter does not engage then you may have a ign switch problem, if it still engages then the solenoid is bad.
