Hi Lisa,
I think that you need to use the automatic tax.
I don't have an A505 to try but from the manual:download

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

What taxes, if any, are included within a pro forma?

A pro-forma would usually include all the taxes that are payable by the vendor on behalf of the buyer. These are usually state sales taxes, or in some countries, may appear as a value-added tax (VAT) or goods & services tax (GST) applied as a percent markup of the transaction. The taxes included in a pro-forma should be those that apply to the transaction being taxed.

Is it a good? A service? A commodity, a major asset? Are there other fees & charges levied by local government that do not attract sales taxes?

The answer is:
It depends on what you are taxing, and in whose jurisdiction you are levying the tax and what rules apply to the calculation of the tax. Familiarise yourself with your applicable tax legislation.

How do you delete everything that someone else has programmed in the Casio PCR-T470

Hi Beccy,That is not a good idea. you will lose much more than you expect including tax systems and other country information that will be the same for your business. It is much easier to edit the existing products to suit your business. Work through the programming section for departments (to setup your products on the keyboard). Also edit the receipt message for your store name.If you need a manual, C-tech has the full programming manual for this model here:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_PCR-T470_users_and_programming_manual.html
