No, and the solution might have been simply cycling circuit breaker. Unit was still in draining limbo when I revisited. I interrupted power during extraction. My initial suspiscion was a stuck float, but it was clean, so was the bottom reservior & float. I exercised the associated switches, repowered and decided to force some feedback, lifting the red arm. It was that or power cycle that fixed it up. Thanks!

  1. If the inspection reveals obvious concerns that can be readily serviced, correct the concern before continuing with Inspection and Verification.
  1. If the concern remains after the inspection, connect the Rotunda New Generation Star (NGS) Tester, 007-00500 or equivalent, to the data link connector (DLC) located beneath the instrument panel to perform DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS test. If the NGS responds with NO RESPONSE/NOT EQUIPPED for the driver door module, go to Pinpoint Test A . If the NGS responds with NO RESPONSE/NOT EQUIPPED for lighting control module, go to Pinpoint Test B . If the DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS test is passed for the driver door module and lighting control module, retrieve continuous DTCs and execute self test diagnostics for the driver door module and lighting control module to retrieve current DTCs.

2004 ford expedition eddie bauer All the doors won't lock/unlock, just make a buzzing sound repeatedly. Also does this when shutting the vehicle off.

What makes a buzzing sound , the door lock actuators ? Or where do you hear the buzzing coming from if not at the doors ?
Power Lock
The power lock/unlock feature requests all of the vehicle doors, including the liftgate, be locked or unlocked upon a customer request from any interior door lock switch in the vehicle. The power door locking system functions independently of ignition status or vehicle speed. When the vehicle security module receives an unlock/lock command from any door lock control switch, the vehicle security module will activate relays internal to the module to supply the correct power and grounds for the door lock actuators.

Need to change fuse on remote keyless entry but don't where it's located on fuse box on 2004 explorer

Do any doors lock/unlock with remote keyless entry ?
  • The doors do not lock/unlock using the remote transmitter
  • Remote transmitter battery.
  • Remote transmitter.
  • Remote transmitter programming.
  • Aftermarket system.
  • High power devices.
  • TV/radio transmission towers.
  • Vehicle security module.
  • Go To Pinpoint Test C .
Pinpoint Test C: The Doors Do Not Lock/Unlock Using The Remote Transmitter
Normal Operation
Remote locking and unlocking of the doors is accomplished by the vehicle security module receiving a command message from the remote transmitter. The vehicle security module processes the command and sends a signal directly to the door lock actuators.
All remote transmitters must be present to begin diagnosis of the remote keyless entry (RKE) system.
Aftermarket or dealer-installed systems may adversely effect the RKE system operation. These systems should be disconnected before diagnosing any RKE concerns.

This is one you should take to a qualified repair shop ! The electronics involved , a factory scan tool needs to be hooked up to the vehicle !
Instrument Cluster-Electronic Inspection and Verification
  1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the instrument cluster (10849) to duplicate the condition and by observing the indicators and gauges to determine if they are operating properly with the ignition switch:
    • in RUN with the engine OFF
    • in START before the ignition switch is released
    • in RUN with the engine running
  1. Inspect to determine if any of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:

Need to know how to retrieve the diagnostic codes on a 1989 nissan stanza

I have the 87 model, but the procedure should be the same. Its under the passengers seat. Had to remove my seat to access it.Turn the ignition on,with a flat-headed screwdriver turn the screw fully clockwise, and wait until you see several blinks. Two or three. Now turn the screw fully counter-clockwise,and read the blinks. The Red light denotes "!0), the yellow light denotes (1), so if the Red light blinks once, and the green light blinks twice, the code will be 12

How do i get the error codes from a 95 astro van without a diagnostic tool

place a jumper wire between terminals A and B of the diagnostic connector , located just under the steering column, pointing staight out. Turn the key on and after the initial 12 code ( flash ,pause, flash, flash), you can count the flashes to retrieve the error codes. ex. *** ** equals 32. each code will show 3 times . When 12 returns , you have retrieved all the stored codes. Good Luck.
