The manual for the NE71B is available for download from the Gateway website here (I think)
(you may choose to start from the main page and choose your location > support > drivers & downloads > select my product from a list > notebooks > NE series > NE71B > choose O/S > Documents > Download User Manual (Windows 8). You may like to do this anyway if you do not have a manual anyway. The Networiking section starts on p44, wireless on/off on p.51, but its not very specific I'm afraid.).
