Question about Braun Food Processors
The disc carrier (with shredding insert in place) has become fixed on the shaft and the working bowl cannot be removed. Motor works OK but I can't get the lid off. I have tried a few drops of olive oil into the shaft - no help. Any suggestions please?
Check your manual first. If you don't find the answer to your problem, contact the manufacturer for instructions. You should have an 800 # to call with your problem or go online to ask your question.
Hope this helps.

There is no mechanism to lock the stem onto the base of the KFP750. It's just held on by gravity, so you're not missing anything simple!
It's possible that the soap dust got in there and glued in on. Take a blow dryer or very hot rag (use tongs!) to the stem to see if you can soften the soap, then pull up the stem.
