Question about Dryers
Remove the rear louvered panel on the lower left, make note of how the belt is routed around the motor, and tension pulley, also note which direction the belt grooves are facing, remove the belt by applying pressure to the tension pulley against the spring, the belt will come off, allow the pulley to gently retract back releasing pressure on the spring. Use a rigid puddy knife and insert in the front crack under the main top on the front approx 2 - 3" in from each corner gently pushing against each spring lock while simultaneously lifting each corner of the top, the main top then just lifts up, is hinged at the rear, and can rest against the back wall. There are probably 2 Phillips screws holding the front panel on at the top left and right, and usually 2 hook clips on the bottom. remove the top screws, disconnect the door switch and lift the panel up. The drum has a round ball bearing looking knucke on the rear, you will need to lift the rear of the drum up and out of it's socket.
Knuckle with nylon socket.
