Question about Computers & Internet
Tried everything. I like a few country songs as my ringers. I had many on my old phone including the themes from the shows bones and greys anatomy. I want fun, happy ringtones but nobody seems to be able to tell me how to get them. please help. ps the browser ON the phone is useless so the only way if its possible is off the ringtone sight. I,d love download by text, but I think i'm going to have to learn to somehow how to move a ringtone from my computer to the phone. i'm not a computer whiz.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: ringer id
Go into address book. Choose contact & edit that person's info. Store to "phone" instead of "sim". When changed, more option come up. Scroll to "ringer id" and choose your ringtone. That's how I've done it

SOURCE: Ringtones not working
The lock indicates that the song is protected, or locked and cannot be transferred or deleted. Where did the music come from? If you downloaded it from a ringtone site, or your company, try downloading them again. It also may be a memory error, if you have too many photos / videos, it will effect the audio and ringtones on the device. Best of Luck.

the most recent software update locks the ability to apply your own sound files as ringtones... thus requiring you to purchase them...
Nothing in life is "free" anymore... always someone out there trying to make a buck....
