Question about Hitachi 27CX01B 27" TV
TV shutdown while watching, and would not restart. After unplugging and replugging, it starts the startup sequence but immediately shuts back off and the only way to get it to start the startup sequence again is unplug and replug the set. Removing the back, I found the C274, split and it sparks and smokes when you attempt to start the set. On the Internet, one site states Hitachi recommended remOving this C274 completely, and in the case of one user this fixed the problem. On my set I did this and it was working perfectly for about three minutes. Now I am back to it immediately switching off after starting. Other sites talk about replacing the Q711, and I was wondering if you had some other ideas.
