Can't increase volume

I have one of the Sony Walkman Mp3 Beans, and have had it for well over a year, but recently ended up trying to change a song and accidentally switched my normal sound options over to AVLS. I can't turn up the volume and can't figure out how to change it back to normal sound options, anybody know how to fix it?

I can set the volume control up to max of 30 to use with speaker instead of headphone but when I turn it off and back on later, the volume still says it's at 30 but no sound comes through.

Hold the Menu button until u see: Search.
Then go down to AVLS: then it will say "on" next to it. hit vol. up, then the down button, play/stop.
Finally hit "Menu" again to go back to music

How to unlock the volume limit in Sony Walkman NWZ-s545

I'm just wondering, why don't you just download the MP3Gain. You can adjust the volume of all the songs to one db of your choosing. It's easier than trying to set up your mp3 player using the test mode, the result of which is usually the radio malfunction.

if it doesn't sync, don't worry just open the folder where the music files are stored on your computer, connect your Sony Walkman to your computer and highlight the music files you want to add to the Walkman and select (copy these files) a windows will open for you to select the place you want to copy to, select your mp3 player and click on copy to copy the selected music to your Walkman

NOTE: if you Sony Walkman has a specific folder for music files, you need to move the songs you copied from your hard drive's music folder to the music folder on your mp3 player for the player to recognize the songs in order to play.

Disconnect the player from the PC, and make sure the mp3 player is turned off. Hold in the volume + button on the mp3 player, and reconnect the player to your pc while holding in the volume + button. Continue holding the volume + for 10-15 seconds until a "Found New Hardware Wizard" pops up. It should recover your device if there isn't anything internally wrong with the player. Warning: this procedure will result in your songs being erased off the player, so they will have to be reloaded.
