Generic problem for all Web Cameras

i hv a mikomi webcam, only thing is, although it say's it's compatible with vista, the software installed ok, but eventhough the cam's plugged in, it says that the cam isn't present.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

- have Intel CS430 webcam and have downloaded Intel driver for XP [none offered for Vista!] On connecting to USB port there are no signs it has been recognised in any way. Any go arounds I have missed?

hi sarah.
have you been on to mikomi web site for the cam and downloaded any updates for the software as the software on the cd may need updating now your using vista.
if get stuck please post back .)

Try to set the secondary DNS as 61.31.233.1
Firmware version 2.05
