hi this solution has already been covered in full lengths. Epson c900 and c1900 are similar. have a look at my posting on this. photoconductor reseting by Labatt in this forum. read from the start.

You can buy a new chip , empty the waste toner and then keep printing. Its only if the message is "replace photocnductor " though..

Hi it's simple
Take out the conductor, look for two metal strips about 8mm by 25mm they are at the bottem left or right, depents how you have the conductor infront of you.
The strips are about 5mm apart from each other.
Take the out gently as they are around the side and fixed with a plastic pin. Loosen them at the other end.
under these strips you find a 80ma fuse
An new lifetime for your cundoctor is set.
