Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: google chrome apps and extensions were deleted

well the easiest thing to do is sync your browser w/your email address. if you haven't done this, there's really no way to restore it unless you do it manually. to sync google chrome to your email do this:
go to the wrench icon @ the top right.
go to options
click the 'personal stuff' tab on the left
the first option is to sync your account, follow the setup instructions.
If you have already done this, there's a button to resync all your settings. good luck!!

How to Remove Chrome Remote Desktop on Windows?

To uninstall Google Chrome Remote, launch Chrome and open the New Tab screen. Switch to the Apps view and locate the Chrome Remote Desktop icon. Right-click on the icon and choose "Remove from Chrome" from the menu that appears. Click "Uninstall" on the pop-up dialog to confirm your choice and the app is removed from the browser. It will also be removed on any other installations of Chrome you have associated with your Google Account if app syncing is activated -- this feature is controlled from the "Personal Stuff" tab on the Chrome Options page.

How come CyberCafe pro changes my Chrome page every new start. Anyone know how to fix this!

If you read CyberCafePro's website you will see it is part of the program. The program is free but pays for the development using the page it goes to. It is not malware or a virus.

How do I uninstall the chrome app launcher?

Are you talking about on the task bar or on Chrome? https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/3060053?hl=en

As far as I can tell its not listed in the Chrome extensions. You could also try doing a full browser re-set. And don't login afterwards.

Why does my browser no longer shows black links, only blue ads.

Sounds like something your browser ate. Not to be smart but the browser can be highjacked like any other browser. Additionally some apps, extensions, and other add-ons to chrome may have hidden gotchas you might not know about. Many free items usually have some form of adware in them. Also if you loaded something that themes Chrome, that could have easily done what you said.

I would uninstall Chrome and re-install. Easy enough solution. If you have your Chrome sync turned on, all the stuff you had will be restored. Start removing extensions and apps you really don't need and see if that solves the problem.

If all else fails, send feedback to Google. Not like they'll respond to you but they might come out with an update to prevent such issues in the future.

How do I remove google chrome app launcher?

its a glitch in Google Chromes latest update. just uninstall Chrome remove all its registry keys and left over folders. restart your computer.
then use Internet Explorer only then go to https://chrome.google.com click the download and follow the instructions. The app launcher will not install onto your desktop, but will open to the app launcher page when you open Chrome.
that too can be removed also bu going into settings "Open a specific page or set of pages. Set Pages" click on set pages and add new page to about:blank or to whatever page you want Chrome to open to. then click save. and that is it no more app page.
once i did this Chrome opens a lot faster.

How do I get rid of Ask

  • Check that there are no extensions installed that may be causing these changes. Go to Chrome menu (previously Wrench icon) > Settings > Extensions > if you see any unfamiliar extension that you do not remember installing, try disabling/removing the extension to see it was causing these changes. To disable, uncheck the "Enabled" checkbox next to the extension. To remove, hover over the extension until you see a trash can icon appear, and click on the icon.
  • Check Control Panel > Programs for any suspicious files and remove them.
  • Go to Chrome Settings (chrome://settings/) > Settings > Search > Manage Search Engines > In the Default search settings box, make sure Ask.com is not selected as the default
