SOURCE: My ipf8000s Plotter gives

Hi There and Welcome to Fixya.

I recommend if you can check if the cutter module has fallen off the print head carriage - it's a blue module that snaps into the left side of the carriage. Usually if it has fallen out, it can be found in the far left end of the printer, so you have to stop the printer, lift the lid and stick your hand into the left cave.

If the above does not work, try uninstalling the printer driver and reinstall a newer version found from Canon's support site :

Thanks for using Fixya.

What is AppHangXProcB1 in my cutter plotter

What kind of plotter. Reading the error it appears that some process is freezing up. This can be caused by a corrupt print job, bad driver. First step you want to take is to update the firmware on the plotter.

I am trying to use my DGI Cutting Plotter and when i try to start up the program Omega Cut Pro it comes up with a message to say 'Protection Failed, Please Check Your Dongle' I am unsure what this means...

Ok this means that to use this software you MUST have a licence and along with this you get a "Dongle" a device that plugs into either the Serial, Parallel or USB port, and has a "Code" in it, that is "Read" by the software. You simply cannot use it without this "Dongle" & Licence.
