Re: im trying to copy music from my sandisk sansa m230...

You can open the device under COMPUTER>Device Name (m230)

Open the MUSIC folder and just copy the contents to your computer by dragging and dropping them onto your desktop, or other location.

Best of Luck.

How can I put music on Sansa MP3 player from Macbook Pro?

Not to sure about a mac but I think mac's use a mp4 format when it rips a cd, and the Sansa will use a mp3 file. You can download a free program to convert these files but again, I know where for a PC but not a mac. Look for free mp4 to mp3 converter program for Mac..

Im trying to put music into my mp3 player but i go to windows media player to try to put something but it says it has no room when theres nothing in there

hi there, see if windows recognizes the player,, erase anything on it(don't format!), copy files using the windows explorer onto it.
if that does not work, try getting an firmware-update plus manager
software fitting your windows version from manufacturer''s homepage
and let the programs work the magic.

good luck

Downloading files from mp3 players

If the files are not on the PC, Windows Media Player will not see them. You can manually manage the music from My Computer. Double-click on the device name Sansa m230 and you can see the files and folder. You can just drag and drop these onto your computer to save them. You might also want to format the device to remove everything and give you a clean slate. Right Click on Sansa m230 and select format. Best of Luck.
