Blade turns until you push against tile

It was working fine and all of a sudden, when it touches tile the blade quits turning. Pull it back and turns again.

You may have some burnt windings in your motor. If so, you'll have to replace the motor.

My RZT 50 turns blades on when levers are pulled back instead of shutting of and shuts off when in forward position ? could it be a switch is bad if yes what switch?

Sounds like someone has been working on the wiring, probably trying to bypass the reverse cut out switches . If you follow your steer control lever down under the plastic console covers there will be a switch, one on each steer lever by where it hinges. I don't think the switch is bad because it would not work at all if it was.It is like a door bell switch, when you pull back on the steer control lever it pushes it in and disconects the circuit to the PTO switch and the blades quit until you push them forwards and lets the curent through again. Also check the push pull PTO switch .Every safety switch on the tractor will meet at that switch and plug into it, . That model cub RZT50 has to have the worst switches ever made, but they are available and cheap on ebay. Plunger Switch 430362 430 362 for Cub Cadet Troy Bilt MTD 700 Series 725... The blade won't stay on even though I have it on properly it comes right off when I turn it on

I have no experience of portable bandsaws but do have some experience of workshop bandsaws.

One wheel is generally movable in order to "steer" the blade and careful adjustment is needed with the blade guides retracted until the blade runs full on the wheels. The blade guides are then brought back to prevent the pressure against the work from pushing the blade off the wheels.

My mk470 turns on and is really making a crazy sound but the blade wont turn

The motor on your tile saw is like a grinder, in the head is a set of gears, one on the armature and another at 90-degrees on the arbor. If the teeth on either or both gears are stripped off it will act and sound like you describe. When you move the motor or blade you are putting enough pressure on the gears that they touch enough to move the blade but it will never cut a tile. I have worked on these tile saws and have not been able to find parts for the motor to repair it. The entire motor is available on sites like www.ereplacementparts.com, part number 156428-R, but it's over $200 plus shipping.

Clippers have suddenly stopped cutting and seem to pull at the hair

Generally removing the two screws.. on the blade foot (don't do this over the sink unless the drain is closed!).. and taking the blade apart.. cleaning the trimmers with a small brush.. apply grease in the blade groove.. reassemble

Usually it's best to put those two screws back just get them in lose.. not quite snug..set the blade upside down on a flat surface..so it pushes the blade back away from the cutting end..level..then tighten those screws while you are pushing or holding down on the clippers cutting edge against the flat surface/table. ... oil the blade with the proper oil or a light mineral oil.

This usually will get them back to cutting properly..the blade should be oiled prior to each use...about two to three drops right along the visible part..or a light spray also hair should be clean.. dirty hair does not cut well at all..and the clippers will tug and pull rather than cut cleanly.

Lastly..if they see a lot of use. might be blade replacement time..

Best of luck!

Target wetsaw starts and runs fine. Half way through the tile the blade binds and the motor bogs down which trips the breaker. It does it every cut now. Never had an issue before. Tightened the belt, still...

First thing I would check is that the table is square to the blade. If the back edge of the table that pushes the tile through the blade isn't perpendicular to the blade the cut will start fine but as you go through the tile the table will be pushing the tile into the side of the blade and cause a huge amount of friction, making the motor work harder and eventually pop the circuit breaker.

Can you take it apart?

Quite difficult. The base that drops down to house the flex is fixed into the main body with two barbed flaps on the central plastic shaft. To remove, pull out the base as far as it will go (about 15-20mm) locate the plastic flap, insert a flat screwdriver and push against the top of the flap where it enters the base of the main body. Push gently until the barb unlocks and the other side should pop out. If not use another screwdriver to push and release the second flap. Why do you need to open it? the blade loose?

The whole blade set has come off and we have no manual to put back together

There is a small gun-metal colored bar at the very rear, just below the back of the blade when it is only the clipper. It pushes inward, in the direction of the blade. Push it firmly in and pull up on the teeth of the blade. It should pop upward. You can then remove the blade from the tongue that it sits upon. When you want to put it back, slide the blade back on the tongue, then, WITH THE MOTOR TURNED ON, push the blade down to its seated position. It will click into place.
If you have taken the blade off and the tongue has for some reason flipped back against the head, slide a screwdriver blade behind it and flip it back out so you can slide the blade back on it.

Good luck
