Question about HP PSC 2410 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I got a new computer awhile back but hooked up my old hp 2410 all-in-one. Printing & copying functions work fine. But computer seems to not be recognizing the scanner part. When trying to scan, says scan options not set...install or run device software.
Why does printing & copying work fine but not scanning? Are there seperate things to install for each function?
Well if you are able to copy from your printer,it suggests that the hardware is perfectly fine. Its just an issue with the software.May be you are using an old software that is not compatible with the new operating system of your computer. If this is not the problem then try uninstalling and then reinstalling the software. And mind that when to uninstall the software do it completely from the registry, program files as well as add/remove programs. If you want any further support, an online technician from techbuddies can help you for free. For this log on to http://tinyurl.com/m7ghqz
