Question about VeriFone (M19755014US1) Magnetic Card Reader
Solution 1 is a correct one; however, it is not alway possible to turning Auto Batch off on the from the terminal. Some settings are encrypted on NCC (Nurit Control Center) and have to be reloaded with a generic application provided by Processor.
Hope this will help.
P.S. Length of the password depends not on the Operation systen (NOS) but on application loaded not the terminal.

Depending on your processor there are 2 locations.
1: Menu then 4 Host parameters the autodial utility.
2: Menu then 2 merchant parameters then setbatch time.
Password is if you have new Nurit NOS meaning Operating system.
Try DDMM format current day and month if that doesnt work
then MMDDYYYY format should work.
Hope it helps.
