Question about Casio EXILIM Card EX-S770 Digital Camera
The pictures look fine on the camera but then when I upload or view them on the computer, certain pictures have a thick grey line on the side. I dont know why it does this, Its a brand new camera and memory card. What do you think is wrong? Is there anything I can do to make up ruined pictures not have a grey line on them?

SOURCE: Can't Upload Pictures
What kind of system are u using? Mac or PC? What version of windows? If you are using their photoloader software please check the following: In picture taking mode press menu Go to setup tab Go up to USB press right arrow and highlight mass storage. press set. try that. If that doesn't work then try this: In picture taking mode press menu Go to setup tab Go to USB press right arrow highlight PTP press set. This will allow you to chose which program to open with. Chose the Microsoft scanner/camera wizard and then just follow prompts.

Don't think you really need to use the software do you? I think you can simply plug in the usb port and browse to "my computer", it should show up as a "removable device" in the dialog window, or may call it "Casio" or similar. Open it and browse to the pictures folder, and "copy, "paste" to your hard drive, but I'm only guessing...hope it helps :)

Easiest way...buy an inexpensive card reader that fits your card and is Mac compatable. Create a folder on your desktop and name it. Plug your card into the reader and the other end into a USB port and an icon will appear on your desktop as "no name". Double-click it and your picture files will appear. Click " command a " to select them. Then press alt/option and click and drag them to the folder you named. Now, right-click the no name icon and choose eject to safely remove it.
