True TBB-24GAL 48" wide unit turns on and shuts down real loud

From day one when it came off the truck no damage was visible until after removing the pallet underneath. There was a dent in the rear corner, motor side. Nothing seemed to be damaged inside, it was disputed, someone came to look at it and nothing ever became of it. Progressively got louder and louder until we had to move it because we could not stand the noise. We use the room that it is in to occasionally have a guest sleep over but it is just so loud. This is about four years old.

This noise may be caused by the condenser fan motor bearings going bad. Carefully pull out the condensing unit pad and try to figure out if the noise is the fan or compressor.

TRUE TBB-2G Cooler is leaking water from the fan

I would guess the water is dripping from an ice ball or buildup in the coil either from an inlet side of the coil blocked by an accumulation of dirt and dust or paper or such. Second, if you leave the door open for lengths of time ice will build up, also an over heated over loaded condenser will cause ice buildup. In any case if you shut it down, let the ice melt, clean the coil, keep the door closed as much as possible and if its hot where its sitting let it have some air it should improve. Last thought, if there is a refrigerant leak in the system ice will accumulate at the end of the coil, the compressor will stay on longer than normal and this water drip is letting you know a service call is coming soon. Hope this helps and good luck.

Temperature stays at 60 doesn't change even when adjusting thermalstat

Inside cooling coil frosted up? turn to run inside fan only until melted away & restart. Possible reasons for this a)dirty condenser down at the compressor which could be brushed but DON'T bend the fins. b0 refrigerant leaked out thru a existing crack. c)poor compressor pumping ability. d) excessive load of warm air entering the cabinet so the system can not reach the request temperature & shut off the compressor to allow that frost to defrost off the evaporator(inside fins) or the system does get too cold & then frosted to the point & never shuts the compressor off so it can defrost.

Check your evaporator drain pan and the outlet for the condensate water, and make sure the drain tubing is clear. That water is supposed to drain outside the box.

You have to verify that the compressor is running. Don't assume that it is just because the fan is running. the compressor may not be running. If compressor is running, good possibility that it is low on refrigerant. Most common and obvious.

How do i adjust the temperature in a True TBB-4G? It's too cold. Where is the thermostat?

If memory serves it is in the middle of the back left corner inside of the unit. Should be numbered 1-9 Generally 3 - 5 is correct setting. Higher the number colder the box. Most of my customers have theirs set on 5.
