in the middle of the paper enterance clean sensor
SOURCE: Royal CIA12 crosscut shredder overload light came on.
Unplug immediately and wait 20 mins to see if motor will "cool-down"...when plugged back in hopefully the Overload light will be OFF....unless you have it completely jammed up in which case try running it in reverse if the overload light is OFF.
If the overload light wont go out you may need pcb...contact Royal at 1-800-524-0799 for further parts assistance.

turn unit off and slowly pull straight up on the jammed paper. Next time dont try to get rid of the evidence all at once
