Try pinging the printer from a computer.

It sounds like a hardware issue, have you checked the network plugs?

Also, try checking if the assigned IP address is conflicting with something else that may have not been online for installation.

Hi nwillett,
Yes and no, sorry if that doesn't make much sense.
For years Minolta recommended Avery labels, but these days they recomment labels manufactured by Howard Smith Papers, their website is http://www.hspg.com/
The thing with labels is always to use the one your copier service company suggests. Otherwise they'll invalidate you contract and you'll be liable for callouts and repairs caused by using Avery labels.
However, Avery labels are good and I have experienced very few problems with them I pressume you using the lables in the correct orientation and also using the manual bypass to feed them.

You are getting a failure sheet. This happens when the scan doesnt go through. I think you are reffering to SMB scanning, which needs to have the following setup on both the MFP and the copier.

Host ID or NAME - IP address or hostname with DNS resolution.

Share Name - This is your SMB share name or folder share name on the remote PC

User Name - This is an account that is configured on the remote PC

Password - This is the password for the account setup on the remote PC.

Some things to keep in mind: Third party firewalls can block the bizhub from writing files.

Set share permissions to full control. (under sharing tab> permissions buttion)

Set NTFS permissions to at least write access. (if you have a "security" tab on the shared folder.

Or, you may see something like "allow network users to change my files" on the sharing tab. This basically does the same under different configuration scenario.

One last thing. If you havent changed anything since the problem started, it is probably just something like an expired password on the account that is setup for the copier.

Hi Kenneth,

This can be a number of reasons.
When you go into the job list and look at the job history, Is there an error message saying "Deleted due to error" or something similar to this in there?
If it does, highlight the job and select "Details" to the lower right and please post what the "Error details" are.

Konica minolta C353 delete job history


If you're not the admin then you can't have access to the job history delete options but note that job history only keep records of jobs done not save the actual jobs done. Jobs can only be saved into the box and accessed from there.

Fax confirmation settings


Press [Job List] on the control panel.

Press [Print], [Fax TX] or [RX/User Box].

Press [Job History].

Confirm the communication results.
