I would suggest that having both receiver and mouse already syncronised, take battery off, look for a tiny thin button that protrudes where the receiver is placed at the bottom of mouse, hold it pressed down and release it simultaneously after putting back a new and fresh battery, this might make work cursor properly.
Good luck!!!

My logitech cordless Wave Keyboard and Mouse have suddenly stopped working. The green light is on the mouse and keyboard so Im not sure why it will not connect.

Hi,

There are several different methods in resolving this issue. Before you perform these methods, make sure that the battery of your cordless mouse is fresh. Then, try this first method..
Method 1: Resynchronize your device with the receiver loadTOCNode(2, 'moreinformation'); To resynchronize the mouse or the keyboard with the receiver, follow these steps.
Note When you synchronize the mouse or the keyboard with the receiver, put the device near the receiver and put any other wireless keyboards and mouse at least 6 feet away.
  1. Press the button on the receiver, and then verify that the light on the receiver starts to blink.

Note Some newer Microsoft devices are permanently bound to their receiver and cannot be reset. If your device does not have a button, skip to Method 2.
  2. If a dialog box appears on the screen in several seconds, follow the instructions that appear on the screen. Otherwise, go to the next step.
  3. Press and release the Connect Channel button on the bottom of the mouse or the keyboard.
  4. Check the green light on the receiver. A steady green light means the synchronization was successful. If the problem persists, try steps 1 through 4 again.
  5. For the Wireless Notebook mouse: This issue can occur if the micro-switch on the bottom of the mouse is not released. Use a pin or a pen to try to release the button if it is depressed.
The following example shows the buttons to push to synchronize a wireless hardware device

Method 2: Install the latest software loadTOCNode(2, 'moreinformation'); Download and install the latest Microsoft IntelliPoint and/or IntelliType software. For more information, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

I hope these works for you. Should you need the other methods, kindly reply for follow up.
Good Luck!

Do i need ti install any software, i have changed the batteries several times but the green and red light do not come on.

If the mouse is working:
The green light only comes on when the mouse first comes on, battery change, switch on etc (as far as I can see).
I dont think you can see the red light, I can't.
My V220 works and the above are true for it.

If the mouse is not working:
Give more details; your operating system, mouse model, what you have tried...

Haven't used mouse in a while. Green light on

Hello,

Yes, new batteries should correct this problem for you. It's recommended if you will not use the mouse for more than 2 weeks, take the batteries out.

Good luck

Microsoft wireless mouse 3000 - all lights are on; flash upon reset, but still doesn't work. Running Vista 64-bit.

Try to take off battery and next push and hold down the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed in the mouse, put back battery and simultaneusly release the button,it might make the mouse operate correctly. Good luck!!!! Chawah.

Good Morning:

Hope that you are wellJ

Not the battery because the Battery Status LED Indicator glows red when the battery is running low. The green light indicates that it is charging.

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

And, remember; always include the type of Operating System and the type of computer you own, when you submit your questions. It simply makes for much faster solutions.

Have a wonderful week.

Cordless Mouse Just quit working While In Use

Most cordless mouse I saw has a reset button. Press this button, make sure you're in the transmission distance from the receiver when you do this.
