I have a 2005 jeep liberty that has white smoke coming from the exhaust when idling and it smells like burnt firecrackers after driving it when I turn the engine off. Any ideas?

If it is the v8, the most common cause for greyish, white smoke is bad valve stem seals. True white smoke smells very sweet and is caused from coolant being buring in the combustion chamber.

When I start sewing by my Victoria electric sewing machine it smells like burnt rubber, what can i do now?

You just need to change the drive belt. It is slipping which causes friction, which causes heat, which causes the smell.

My transmission fluid smells burnt

Never get your transmission flushed if your transmission fluid is burnt, that can only damage the transmission even more causing additional problems.

Noisey and recently smells like rubber. maybe a/c

You may have a frozen bearing on the tensioner or belt idler. This will cause the belt to burn and smell. I think you are on the right track. I would remove the belt and spin the idler and adjuster by hand to see that they are free and don't have excessive play in them. Replace as necessary.

Smells like burnt wires

It is very possible it may have burnt wire or burnt capacitor. Remove unit, remove top cover and look inside to see if you see any burn marks or burnt wires. Also check fuse to see if it is good or not.

Check the fluid to see if it smells burnt. If it smells burnt or looks brown then change the fluid and filter. This is a common problem that if caught early may not cause severe damage. If the filter and fluid change do not help the you are looking at a rebuild soon.
