You can check to see if ur speakers are unhooked but it takes patient to get to them and a steady hand! also it could be a hardaware or software issue but look online to see if you can take it apart to the speakers and check some show step by step taking apart the psp!

Psp 3000 sounds not good in earphone

The PSP 3000 model lowered the wattage to the headphone 3.5mm jack out to reduce battery drainage. The headphones you have are drawing to much power (buds or not).

Another thing that could be affecting your quality is the connection inside the port could be dusty. I would suggest taking a que-tip and adding a little windex to it and polish out the port then try your luck.

If that doesnt work swap out head-phones

It may be the type of head phones you are using. Try using a different pair. Also, check and see if your headphones have a volume control or a mute button on them. Your PSP may be at max volume but if your headphones have a seperate volume control that may cause the volume to be real low.

Can't hear music threw ear phones only can hear the mic threw earphones

Hi I'm mhel, try to re install your audio driver and if this not work you can try to replace your head phones with a new one thats maybe the cause, but if this doesn't did the job you might have a faulty headphone jack. Consider a hardware repair. good luck

My psp speakers dont work the head phone jack came loose and only plays out of one head phone and the up joystick doest go up all the way in a game so i walk slow, can i fix these problems and how ???

You have either what is called a dry joint on the headphone socket or the headphone socket is broken.

When you plug the headphones in it switches off the speakers, so if the socket gets damaged or becomes disconnected from the board the speakers will also not work.

you need someone with VERY good soldering skills and a spare headphone socket to repair or replace the socket

Couldnt say whats happening with the joystick, maybe a bit of the headphone socket has got jammed in it, you probably wont find out untill the psp is opened up

No sound

Try to restore to default setting, ( on setting menu) if it not work you'll need reflashing your psp under recovery menu.

hopefully this helps. Pls post back should you need additional information.
