Question about Protron PLTV3250 32 in. LCD Television

Sanyo 32" lcd tv.power from the mains but no sound or picture.is there a fuse in the tv.

My 52" sanya lcd tv blew a fuse - take the back off and follow the power cord up and you should have 2 fuses there - probably the one on the left has blown out. You'll have to learn about the fuse you need - I had to get mine out of NV. Good luck!

Sanyo sets have a horrible track record, if the set is still under warranty return it. The problem could be in either the power supply or main board. It will have to be diagnosed properly to be sure.

I have a sanyo dp42849. i turned it on this morning. the power light went on and i have no picture or sound


Sounds like a main board issue, but please have the set diagnosed properly. Be aware, some Sanyo main boards can be hard to find and costly !!!

It sounds that the main digital board to your TV has damaged. But, before make it confirm, a through check should be done. Contact any experienced service technician for help. The work is skilled one, that a user cannot do it with ease.

the power supply of your tv is bad try to check the fuses if fuse are open try to replace them with the same value..try to power it on but if the fuse blows again replace the power supply board...

32'' Vizio LCD no picture or sound


Your filter capacitors have popped due to diodes shorting, P-channel FETs shorting from gate-to-drain. Pull-up resistors have changed value and as a result your capacitors have peaked (popped)....so now the tv is in protection mode to prevent further damage to your tv. Take it to your local shop for servicing, or take it back if its under warranty......
