Refer to the discussion at the other thread: http://www.fixya.com/support/t3309646-pump_motor_sounds_like_running_but_not

You will need to remove the top domed lid to access the working parts. Refer to http://www.fixya.com/support/t3543424-two_top_sections_held_together

Examine the water lines to ensure they are attached to the pump. If you feel you can do so without shocking yourself on any exposed electrical connectors, try disconnecting the inlet hose. Buy a two-foot section of the same size hose from the hardware store and connect it to the pump inlet. Plug in2_bing.gif the unit (be careful!!!) and use the pump switch to see if it draws water. Then try reconnecting the inlet and connect the outlet to the new hose to see if the pump pulls water from through its suction tube and will pump through the new hose.

Pump fills with air and suction is lost. seems

There is a gasket on the air duct that can move and allow ari to be sucked in. Go to the following site and click "view larger":

This will open a seperate window showing some pictures, one of which shows the gasket on the air duct. Make sure its seated properly.

Pump motor sounds like it is running but is not pumping

The pumps in these machines are very simple and there's almost nothing to go wrong. If the problem is actually in the pump, the most likely thing is that there's something stuck in one of the valves, but this is unlikely as long as you've got an undamaged filter on the intake tube in the clean water tank. More likely is that the diode has failed in the live wire supplying the pump. The function of the diode is to act as an electrical one-way valve, and if it fails the pump will sound like it's working but it won't shift any water. I don't know of an easy way to check the diode, but replacing the pump lead-wires should be cheap. If that doesn't solve the problem, fit a new pump (they're not expensive).
Good luck! Please remember to rate this response, thanks.

When i turn on my auxilliary pump, water still flows out.

Leaking from where? The jets up front? If so you need to replace the electrical water control valve. Visit http:www.Michco.com to get a new one or assistance.

After disassembling the unit to gain access to the hoses, the electric valve and the pump, I was able to determine that the pump was not working. NOTE: If you plan to test if the pump motor is working or not you must first remove the belt that drives the brushes from its motor pulley. This is done by first removing the C-ring that holds the pulley on the motor shaft, then slide the pulley, belt with it, off the shaft. This will allow the motor to turn without spinning the brushes. With the unit plugged in and turned on, pull the cleaning solution/water trigger. The pump motor has a short shaft sticking out and it should spin. You can touch the shaft with a finger and feel if it is spinning or not. I have no idea if the motor can be purched separately or if it is available only with a pump assembly. I also have no idea if you can buy either. I reparied the motor, but I will not go into detail on this at this time. Sufice it to say that the shaft was in dire need of lubrication. Most people would not elect to disassemble the unit to the extent that I did and I would simply recommend taking it to an authroized service center.

Pump prime lost

After further examination of the pump I re-installed it in the machine and removed the inlet hose from the mixer valve body and placed the end in a shallow pan of water. I turned the machine on and the pimp picked up the water from the pan and pumped without failure for several minutes as I had the pump output refilling the same pan.
If I take the end of the inlet hose out of the pan for only a couple of seconds, the pump loses prime and will not recover until I remove the vacuum hose from the pump. Upon replacing the vacuum hose the pump primes and begins working.
At that point I suspected an air leak at the base of the water tank or somewhere in the mixer valve assembly. I then took the hose off of the tank fitting in the base and placed the end of the hose in the pan of water. Again, the pump performed without any problem. Therefore, I assume I have an air leak at the base of the tank where the tank connects to the machine.
I will explore this further and provide you with additional info as I make progress
