Stanley stapler/nailer gun spits out more than one staple at a time

Sometimes a gun will double fire, quickly fires twice and is caused by worn trigger valve or safety foot. However, two staples driven with one shot indicates that the staples could be the wrong gauge for the gun or the driver is damaged. The driver of a nailer has a taper on one side of the blade to prevent the driver from hitting two staples. The taper will push the remaining staples back into the rails. Make sure that the taper is facing the staples and that the staples are correct for the gun.

The gun will fire staples, nails do not set.

Shoots staples fine but brads jam or bend. Check that the part called "guide bar", #35 on the parts diagram isn't getting stuck in the channel of part #30.

The guide bar retracts into the channel when driving a staple and springs out of the channel to guide brads.

The guide bar can get stuck in the channel if it's bent or gummed up. (Bent is likely the result of driving a brad into an obstruction.)

The staples don't come out. I have taken it apart

Make sure that the driver blade is all the way up to top of travel (push driver up with thin tool). Load staples and check that the first staple moved into position by looking down nose. If the driver is all the way up out of the way of the path of the staples and staples do not move into place check of debris or wrong staples. If first staple is in position fire nailer several times. If only one staples then miss, driver is not returning to top. This is usually caused by poor seal at the bottom of cylinder, cracked lower bumper or piston orings are too tight or too loose. Good luck

Won't shoot staples. Proper loading instructions please.

Make sure the staples you are using are compatable with your gun they should be type 53 or JT21 staples and they are not longer tham the gun is capable of taking I think the maximum capacity for this gun is 5/16 or 8mm.
Turn the gun upside down and pull back the carriage, the staples are laid in the empty chamber in the gun itself not on the carriage points facing in the direction they fire ie points facing you .
Push back the carriage this should slide over the strip of staples until the carriage clicks shut.
You should now be ready to fire, try and keep pressure down on the gun as the recoil can make the gun bounce and you will leave the staples proud.
Hope this helps.

Can't load staples

Fire the stapler with the load chamber open and down, see if anything falls out. Point it in different positions and fire it, just make sure it cannot fire anything at you.

My arrow fastener model t-50m is jammed how do I remove the few

I have a similar issue with my T50m stapler. To remove the staples unscrew the locking nut near where you load the staples and remove the tapppered bolt. The track will lift out and the staples can be easily removed. Why this is happening is unknown to me also. I purchased a new gun.
