Question about Sony NWZ-B103FBLK MP3 Player
I have over 10 years experience in electronic tech support.
The only way to fix a boot error message on an mp3 player is to do a firmware upgrade. If the firmware is available you will find it on the manufacture's website. It's important that your computer still recognize the player when it's connected because the firmware will be have to be downloaded onto the player.
If there isn't firmware available from the manufacturer the unit would need to be sent to them for repair or exchange assuming it's still in warranty.
I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here. Please be sure to vote on my response. I hope I've earned a good rating from you today.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
